- Perfect party or game day food
- These bites are a little salty, with a hint of spicy from the jalapeños, and a little bit of tang from the sharp Cheddar

- Taste amazing; the kids with love them for an after school snack
Substitutions and additions
- Try adding or switching out some of the jalapenos for thinly sliced green onion.
- Your cheese choice can be changed up. I think sharp cheddar is the best for flavor, but you might want to try some with pepper jack cheese or swiss for a different flavor. Parmesan cheese can also be added for an extra flavor punch.
- If you are a die-hard fan of hot spicy foods, go for a hotter variety of pepper (at your own risk).
- Sprinkle some herbs into the dough while mixing. Ones to try might be dill, oregano or rosemary.
What to serve with cheesy jalapeno pretzel bites
Jalapeno Pretzel Bites are a great snack to have on hand for parties, get-togethers, and game days. They go well with almost anything you might serve. For game day, try serving these with Bacon and Blue Cheese Guacamlole, or if you want something a bit creamier, Creamy Salsa Dip is a great choice.
If you want to serve these as a snack or side dish for a light meal, they’re great with most soups. I love them with Instant Pot Buffalo Chicken Soup or Instant Pot Panera Broccoli Cheddar Soup. They also pair well with salads. Or, add them to your charcuterie board for special events. Make ahead, freeze and pull out anytime the desire or need arises for a delicious, quick snack.

- flour
- cheese – I prefer sharp cheddar but you can use virtually any cheese of your choice.
- jalapenos – We used the jarred ones but you can use fresh if you like and also can use hotter ones if heat is your thing.
